Tallowood | Double Density Alpaca Blanket | 240cm x 165cm
Description
Tallowood (Chilintomo)
A soft double-density baby alpaca blend blanket in camel gold, made for deeper warmth, quiet texture and comfort that settles beautifully into a space.
The Tallowood Blanket's double-density weave gives the blanket a more substantial feel, with extra warmth, loft and drape while still remaining breathable and comfortable.
Its camel gold tone feels warm, earthy and quietly refined, with a stunning natural sheen in natural light. Tallowood brings depth without pattern or noise. It is a quietly beautiful, grounding layer for beds, sofas, cabins, bell tents and slow weekends away.
At approximately 240 x 165 cm, Tallowood is generously sized for layering across a queen bed, folding into the van, draping over a sofa, or wrapping close on cool evenings outside. Its softly brushed finish gives it a tactile, lived-with quality that feels warm without looking overly polished.
Handwoven in Ecuador and originally known as Chilintomo, Tallowood reflects the character of slower textile production and made to bring warmth and presence to the places you make your own.
Warm, weighty and beautifully simple, Tallowood is a natural comfort piece for cold mornings, quiet rooms and the places you make your own.
The Tallowood Blanket is woven from an 80% alpaca and 20% acrylic blend, bringing together the natural softness and warmth of alpaca with added durability for regular use. The acrylic blend adds strength and resilience, helping the blanket hold up well through repeated use, travel and season-after-season living.

Absolutely love this rug. It's unbelievably soft, beautifully made, and has a lovely weight that feels warm and luxurious without being too heavy. The camel colour is timeless and adds so much warmth to my home. I find myself reaching for it every evening, whether it's draped over the sofa or layered on the bed. It's one of those pieces that instantly makes a space feel more inviting. Worth every cent, and I'd happily recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, heirloom-quality throw.
